Frolic Variation Quilt Block

  

I’ve been working on some of the blocks of the month from one of my favorite forums on Quilting Board and thought this one worked up kind of nice.  The block is called Frolic Variation from the McCall’s Quilting web site.  For the center, I used an original sketch from my old decorative painting days and printed it on fabric.
