I’m very sad this morning. Last night, my hound dog, Rusty, passed away. He was 14 years old and my best pal.
I’m heartbroken.
Oh Lillian – my heart breaks for you. I know how badly it hurts to have a beloved pet pass away. Please take time to mourn – my thoughts are with you today.
So very sorry about the loss of your fur baby. It hurts so much, I know. We have lost so many over the years. But, alwalys get another. Life without our fur babies is without enough love.
Thank you for your kind note. Maybe after awhile I’ll be able to think about another dog – I’ve never been without one. Lillian

Dear Lillian,
Losing a pet-companion is such a sad time, be it a dog, a horse, a cat. Given the life span of an animal we have to go through this so many times. Difficult as it is, I know i would not want to be without a pet.
Perhaps in a while another dog will come along to keep you company–there are never ‘replacements’–only another friend.
My heart is breaking along with you Lillian! I know how precious our pets are. We are facing Dagi’s last months now so I can feel your pain. Wasn’t Rusty a handsome friend! I agree with others hoping that maybe a new friend will come into your life.
