Pause and Remember – 11/4/2011

On Friday, I pause and remember a single, wordless moment from the past week – inspired by The Warden’s Log.

Just a little help from their friends.

Lillian Applegate Westfelt was a mother of 4, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 3. She was an 86-year-old widow living in a nice little bungalow with her oldest daughter and a beagle-dachsund named Addie. She passed away in November, 2018.

  1. How cute! I am sure they are wonderful advisers to all things handwork. 🙂

The dress beside my quilt is my first Easter dress. My favorite aunt gave it to me as a gift and my mother saved it along with a few other items of my baby clothes.

    1. I just love the idea of displaying your first Easter dress. I also saved just two items or so from my four children’s clothes. I’m going to take turns hanging them up, including the boys’ rompers. Lillian
