Pause and Remember – 12/2/2011

On Friday, I pause and remember a single, wordless moment from the past week – inspired by The Warden’s Log.

I wasn’t going to buy another building to add to my crowded village, but who could resist a barn with horses looking out?

Lillian Applegate Westfelt was a mother of 4, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 3. She was an 86-year-old widow living in a nice little bungalow with her oldest daughter and a beagle-dachsund named Addie. She passed away in November, 2018.

  1. I love it!!!! It is so cute! I haven’t gotten my houses out in a few years and really miss them. If I put them out now, I think Simon will break them :(. We are still debating (negotiating) our tree.

  2. Not me! It’s adorable, and makes a great addition, I’m sure. I almost bought one I saw at the thrift store. Stopped myself just in time from spending the money. LOL
