On Friday, I pause and remember a single, wordless moment from the past week – inspired by The Warden’s Log.
Because I don’t mind a chip hidden in the back, I have a bargain-priced Roseville console.

The chip just means that someone loved it before you did. Why are they called console?
I don’t know why they are called “consoles”, but that’s the way they’re listed on auction sites. This was quite a bargain at an antique mall – $18 plus an additional discount which brought it to $15.30 with tax. I never mind chips or cracks just because of what you said – someone loved it and used it before. Lillian
If you’d inherited it, it would have been used, so I don’t care about things that don’t impair the function, either.
