Pause and Remember – 2/10/2012

On Friday, I pause and remember a single, wordless moment from the past week – inspired by The Warden’s Log.

Roseville White Rose

Because I don’t mind a chip hidden in the back, I have a bargain-priced Roseville console.

Lillian Applegate Westfelt was a mother of 4, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 3. She was an 86-year-old widow living in a nice little bungalow with her oldest daughter and a beagle-dachsund named Addie. She passed away in November, 2018.

    1. I don’t know why they are called “consoles”, but that’s the way they’re listed on auction sites. This was quite a bargain at an antique mall – $18 plus an additional discount which brought it to $15.30 with tax. I never mind chips or cracks just because of what you said – someone loved it and used it before. Lillian
