Pause and Remember – 3/9/2012

On Friday, I pause and remember a single, wordless moment from the past week – inspired by The Warden’s Log.

My youngest daughter and I are celebrating her birthday

Lillian Applegate Westfelt was a mother of 4, grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 3. She was an 86-year-old widow living in a nice little bungalow with her oldest daughter and a beagle-dachsund named Addie. She passed away in November, 2018.

  1. Wonderful birthday wishes to her! I love the Buca Restaurant and I go to it in my sisters’s town of Maple Grove MN. We want to get a table in the kitchen sometime!

    1. I assume all the restaurants are alike and that you also have a Pope’s Room. We want to eat there but you have to have 15 people and we have never been able to get that many people interested. Lillian

  2. What a great restaurant that looks like. I’ve never been to one, though I’ve heard of them. Maybe that will be a place I hit on my quilt show trip! Happy birthday to your youngest. What a lucky lady to have dinner with her mom!

    1. It’s a fun restaurant located in the Hyde Park suburb of Cincinnati (east side). Where will you be staying while you’re in town? Lillian
