Vintage Creamers and Fall Flowers

Fallpitchers (4)

I have a large collection of vintage creamers and sugar bowls which I use for flower arrangements.  I had just gotten some of my autumn-looking pieces out of storage when my daughter came home with a $6 bouquet from the grocery store and made the old china even more beautiful.

  1. My Mom collected creamers, too! I wanted to thank you for all of the old recipes you publish. I fixed many for my Mom, who had Alzheimer’s and passed away January 2. She waited until the early morning after my birthday New Year’s Day. She did know, told me ‘Happy Day’ a couple of times. I love your blog. Brings back so many memories.

  2. How beautiful! Isn’t it amazing how far $6 can go, and how beautifully the creamers compliment that bouquet, making it a rich present for the eye?

  3. How pretty both arrangements look on your sideboard, Lillian. Love that lace topper, too. Reminds me of Hardinger, which I always wanted to learn how to do, but never seem to have the time.
